| Mollie
is a Licensed Marriage, Child and Family Therapist with a Masters in Counseling
Psychology and a PhD in Clinical Psychology. She currently runs a private
practice in Nevada City, California, USA. Mollie has developed her own potent method of doing therapy by writing custom stories and poems for her clients. In addition, Mollie writes Irish short stories and is a storyteller at Festivals, musical events and for children as requested. She also reads to children in Libraries and upon request. What Mollie believes about the Person... Mollie believes that everyone is born good and has the potential for greatness. Some meet with difficulties in childhood or their environment and maybe take or are lead on difficult routes through life. Through no fault of their own they get into problems that become overwhelming for them. With help they can be led back on a more manageable path. She believes strongly in the internal strength and resources of each individual and she facilitates tapping into them to trigger healing and wholeness. In her therapy practice she aims to guide clients to their inner resources. She creates an atmosphere of calm, relaxation and nurturing to accommodate the work. She teaches clients to notice things, feelings, joys, and talents that they may not have noticed before. Mollie facilitates empowerment and clients' climbing out of troubled places. |
